So you want to know a little more about me? Well, fair warning, I can be a bit sarcastic and stubborn. Oh my god am I stubborn. I’ll try to keep it professional.

I’ve heard a lot of writers say that they’re introverts, but I’m more of an ambivert. One thing about me, I like to try new things and am not afraid to fail. A good cry afterward, but hey, I get over it…mostly.

My favorite genre to read is urban fantasy. Write what you know. I do read other genres as well, though. I love coffee and wine, talking, writing (no surprise there), and spending time with my family. Tons of other things, but I’ll move on.

I talk to myself through possible scenes and play all of the character parts. If the government really did bug peoples’ homes they’d think I was crazy and I wouldn’t be living at home with my kids and husband. I swear I’m not insane. No matter what my teenager tries to tell everyone.

I wanted to be a marine biologist when I was growing up, and have a bachelor’s of science in environmental science. Once upon a time I wanted to learn as many languages and go to as many places as possible. That’s taken a back burner, but I do enjoy using some other languages in my writing, even the one I made up.
