Writing accountability post number one

Where am I at with The Exile’s Paradox?

Current Work in Progress (WIP)

I still haven’t figured out a name for it yet. Something with “Hope” in it. But it has to be in the theme of “Twisted, Shattered, and Jaded.” I’m thinking “Fractured”. There’s a few more, but I’m not going to go look at the list right now. I’ll consider ideas.

According to Pages I have written 7,963 words. Out of 100k or more that I need to have before October/November when I have to send it off to my wonderful beta readers.

Goal? Publish it by March—the Equinox would be great.

The whole premise for the book? Jeez, now I’m asking a lot of myself. Which one is premise again?

I can’t say much without spoilers for Jaded Loyalties, so I’ll just go with this. Nolan is summoned to Aemina for an emergency while there’s a family emergency in France that Hally is dealing with. It’s gonna be eventful and I’ve had this one planned since the beginning.

Jaded Loyalties

Is just waiting. On the computer. Patiently. All 102,751 words (according to Pages—the number could be different on Word)

September 12th is when Cris (cover artist) is able to take on my next project. I can’t wait to see what we come up with.

Goal? Send out ARCs in September and have it ready to go by October 15th. I don’t think that’s unreasonable.

Shattered Fate

Will be out on Friday!

59,324 words.

I’m having fun making a few ads and TikTok things. I also am celebrating with a great sale on A Twisted Fate for Shattered Fate’s release.

Yesterday I came up with a change for the blurb that makes so much more sense—as it’s only a 6 word difference. I asked some peoples’ opinions and they’re all in agreement. So I asked Cris to change it on the cover and I changed it out online.

There’s been 4 ARC reviews and I’m sending out a reminder to the others tonight.
